Anyone who meets Gene senses his passion, enthusiasm, and energy to grow wine grapes and produce excellent wines in Texas - perhaps the most hostile environment in the world to do so - but as Gene claims, it is a testament to the Texas mentality of doing the impossible.
Roxanne Myers
President & Daughter
A mom, globetrotter, and member of the Lost Oak Winery family, Roxanne is known for wearing a lot of hats. From Tasting Room to President, she can be credited with growing Lost Oak Winery 600% in the last 13 years, developing a robust event business and helping Lost Oak to expand in to the Hill Country.
Jim Evans
Executive Winemaker
Jim has had a lifetime of achievements in the Texas Wine industry. Jim has been involved in the Texas wine grape industry since 1981. He claims that wine is made in the vineyard. A winemaker should just guide the process and not interfere too much. Let the wine be an expression of the grape.
Angela Chapman
Winemaker & Wine Educator, WSET III
Angela Chapman has been in the wine and spirits industry since 2010, and has been studying wine, winemaking, and spirits even longer. Angela has experience in all aspects of the business from the vineyard and winemaking to managing the Tasting Room and Wine Club.
Susan Brayfield
Office Manager
Susan joined the Lost Oak Family in 2019 after a career in education. Beginning with limited wine-business knowledge, Susan has grown to be passionate about all aspects of the wine-making business. She especially enjoys talking to guests about the food and wine pairings. Susan is involved in many aspects of Lost Oak. From guest services to bill-paying, her multi-tasking skills help keep our daily business operations running smoothly.
Cayla Seeley
Event Coordinator
Cayla began her Lost Oak path a year and a half ago. By being a people person, she has a deep love of planning events. Cayla is a very detailed oriented person which has helped in planning weddings and special events. At the tasting room, you can find her always drinking a glass of wine (white or red as long as it's dry). Calya is looking forward to continuing to grow within the company that she loves.
